WE meet Again

...and the beautiful butterfly. Just watched a sparrow crash into our window, break its neck, die, and rise again to fly away after 30 minutes. Wish they would quit doing that (crashing, I mean). Other day, once was actually doing the cartoon-like spin after impact , poor little thing.

Ooh painful - for the birdie and to watch!

My son saved a huge grasshopper from the cat a few weeks back thinking he was doing good. He released it back into nature near a big tree and as the hopper took it's first leap back to freedom, a magpie swooped down and caught it. Obviously it was meant to die that day, poor grasshopper
