Some psychic gates opened for me at this Full Moon in Pisces, one that Art Gianfermo of Aquarian Solutions called, A Full Moon of Conspiracy, Paranoia and Craziness. http://aquariansolutions.blogspot.com/2010/08/full-moon-of-conspiracy-paranoia-and.html That's what got me thinking about the need for psychic boundaries, and discipline about what I'm personally exposed to. There's a lot of indiscriminate emoting, and reactionary behavior lately that instinctively makes me self-protective. After all, I've got my own mad woman to dance with.

Pisces is a sign that's deep in many worlds, and can become a victim of its own vivid imagination and powerful emotions. It's a sign that can be victimized by others, especially manipulative types. On this week's Full Moon, Gianfermo wrote, "Of course the fact that Neptune (ruler of this moon) is traveling next to Chiron the wounded healer and both of them retrograde has something to do with it. Drugs, pharmaceuticals, stem cells, depression, fears, hallucinations to name a few themes."

I'm not a TV watcher per se, though I do watch movies. But Facebook gives me a window into the controversy of the day. Lately, it's been what I'll call the story of the muslim cultural center with a prayer room two blocks away from where the still-unsolved attacks of September 11th happened. Words are powerful influences to the subconscious, and the title of this hot story which itself is a false one -- repeated again and again -- is part of the campaign to produce a desired effect. As we get nearer to the anniversary of the atrocities, there's a clear attempt here to get us riled up against each other. It's a channel for our waves of anger and fear about the state of the country. And sadly, it's working.

The Sun-Pluto trine and Mercury retrograde in Virgo both favor deep research. It's timely for looking at this topic of manipulation, especially this phenomenon of waves we see, and ones we don't see -- stories that make waves of anger and/or fear, or direct the waves this way or that.
